Extreme sports expo this weekend

Adventure sports enthusiasts are in for the ultimate weekend threat with the first ever extreme sports expo in the Middle East.

The Spearo Extreme Sports Expo kicks off today, October 9, at the drop zone of Skydive Dubai and will run until Saturday, October 11. It seeks to introduce adrenaline junkies in the region to the latest in adventure and extreme sports.

The expo will feature an extensive array of activities from displays to demos to presentations. On October 10, listen to record freediver Herbert Nitsch as he speaks about his 214-meter dive into the ocean depths.

There will also be displays and demos of adventure sports equipment and activities for land, sea, and air. Know more about rock climbing, trekking, mountain biking, or off-roading. Check out sea-based adventures like kitesurfing, wakeboarding, kayaking, sport fishing and others. Skydiving and paragliding are also a few of those featured in the air section.
